Admins, my email notificaiton isnt working

I emailed Greg and he's probably out getting some birthday party and unmentionables..

It stopped sending me emails when I switched my email addy... The address wroks (I receieve info on it all the time)

Someone help?

if you use yahoo, get used to it. sometimes it takes an hour before i'll get notifications, and when i do get them i get a ton of them at once.

Im sending it to my [email protected] account, and its always instant.....

Only thing I can think of is when you change your email addy on here you get an email and you have to click a link sending you back to NICO to verify the change. If you haven't done that then maybe that's your problem. Otherwise, I have no idea.

My email notification is screwed up too. I get an email for every post made in a thread even if I haven't been back to the boards. Before I would get one email per thread until I visited again. It fills up my email box in no time with like 40 emails from NICO.

I've been having some problems with email notifications as well. Somehow I get unsubscribed from threads that I was previously subscribed to.

Wes, I don't know what to tell you. I have the same problems. I think the problem is further within NICO, like in the scripting and stuff. Stuff that is way over my head and left only to the webguru team. Like everytime they do some behind-the-scenes software update, it screws stuff up...and unsubscribes you and stuff. Like I said, I have the same issues.

6 posts and 1 thread for an email notification problem? I guess it stands to reason that you have a 5300+ post count.

I notice from time to time that the email notification goes in and out.

Yeah, your email addy is correct. (although, you could have checked that yourself in userCP )

I thought you would check because Ive seen it on occasion the server doesnt correctly update the email address... IT shows its correct but it doesnt really "recognize" it.....

I emailed one of the admins on my other forum and see what he says...

Now to hunt down jesda for his POS email.....
