I never found a way. The amp is probably back behind or beside of the sub in the back, but probably does not have any adustments.

Only option would be to upgrade the amp with one with adjustments. But probably would blow that sub with much more power, so then would be replacing the sub as well.

Generally on amps the only thing you have is the Gain knob and I wouldn't suggest raising it because the dealership set it at that level for a reason.

It is VERY easy to blow subwoofers/speakers so I'd be careful if you wind the knob. Also I don't think the dealership would reduce the amount of Gain because why would they care how much your stereo bumps.

Let us know if you find it though. :DIs it the bazooka sub?

None of the factory amps I have ever seen have had gain knobs so there is no real adjustment that I know of from that standpoint.

With absolute confidence there is no adjusting the stock sub from the amp on a versa. But to answer your other question the amp is located inside the subwoofer enclosure located behind the trim in the LH rear cargo area.

Alright.. (because I'm new to this)

if I get an aftermarket sub & amp, can I connected that to the stock 6disc head unit?

Yes you can. I'm running a stock headunit on Kenwood amp/sub combo.

Sure can! I actually just made a thread about this a couple weeks ago in this part of the forum. You could try to connect everything at the head unit itself, but I found it easier to tap into the speakers. Get an amp with speaker inputs. Tap into the rear speaker wires and run these new wires into the speaker inputs. This will feed the signal to your amp. For your remote wire to your amp, tap it into the radio fuse in your fuse box. This will allow the amp to turn on and off when your car and radio do. Just hook up your sub to the amp, run the ground wire to any point that comes in contact with your chassis (there are some bolts underneath the driver's seat that are great for this), and run the power wire to your battery.
