I have a 92 240SX Convertible. When putting up the top the left side is perfect lines up to the fasner to close the top. But the right side is off, to short almost. Is there a way to adjust the top? I adjusted the hook that latches into the window frame, but that is not really going to fix the problem. Any help is appriciated.

Welcome to NICO!

The best resource besides this forum is a copy of the supplemental service manual for convertibles. They're frequently on ebay, search "240sx convertible".

Glad to have you aboard!

I have a similar problem. My top seems just a CH too short. Have you ben able to determine any way to adjust the top?

Yea I have the same problem with mine. I bought a service manual I am going to look into it and maybe it'll have a way to adjust it.I'm thinking that the timing is just off, doesnt sound like too big of an issue I just need to get it fixed before the cold a** weather comes!!

I finally fixed it this afternoon. When you are lifting up the top you must stop it about half way and adjust the upstop evenly. There should be a jam nut where the metal bar guide is supposed to sit when the top is all the way up. unscrew both on each side and close the top. Once you do that make sure it will latch and then unlatch it and put both jam nuts back on evenly on each side. Rough explanation, if you need pics just let me know and I'll post em.
