Adjusting passenger window 03 M45

I recently had to replace the motor for my passenger window with was simple to take out and replace it. But now when I push the automatic button to close my window it close but opens it half way. The only way I can close it is manually close it without hitting the auto button. Any pointers on what to do????

So, it goes all the way up, but then stops and comes back down halfway?

That is expected actually, the motor doesn't know the open/close limits in the car and needs to be reset.

Seems to work on most Nissans
