Adjusting overall Free play on Clutch pedal? Can it be adjusted?

I am not talking about the overall height of the pedal. That is at a fine height because of the auto adjust, but when I push it down I get resistance about about 2"-1/2s. I felt that this is way too much. IT is an original clutch and will do it sometime in the fall but right now I wanted to know if this guide @ the 2nd section Cl-4 was the area that would let me adjust that free play. I am not sure though, So I wanted to double check because I don't know if this just fixes the height of the pedal...

yep I was right... WOW... What a diff. Feels like a new clutch when pushing it in... lol
