Hey everyone, Im trying to figure out how to get heat in my 240. This is what i found that would relate to my problem, because my thermostat is working properly,my coolant level is fine, and my heater core is notm plugged because i blew it out and still do not have any heat.

1. Place temperature lever to max hot setting. Disconnect temperature control cable from blend air-door lever.
2. Pull heater valve control rod in direction to obtain .08" (2.0mm) clearance between ends of rod and link lever. Connect Rod to door lever. Check operation of air mix door.
3. Push temp control cable and air mix door lever in direction of arrow. Install Retaining clip.

My question is, where is this located, and if the heater control valve is sticking, this is what will fix it? Thanks

Its right behind your radio and HVAC control unit (thing with buttons on it that you use to control your heat and air).... you'll see a cable in a white plastic sheath that runs from the HVAC control unit to the actual valve/door. I can try to get some pictures for you tomorrow if I can find my camera.
Chances are the metal clip that holds the cable sheath to the controller box fell off. Instead of the lever moving just the cable inside of the sheath, it moves the whole thing which accomplishes nothing.

please get some pics if you can, thatd be greatly appreciated. I found the plastic sheath over the cable and when i slide it from hot to cold the plastic and cable move from side to side i think, but it pulls a lever thats kinda far back forward and backwards. is that how its suppose to work? thanks
