ok, so i loosened the TPS sensor and twisted it a little and now it idles better. it doesnt die, but it doesnt seem perfect. in first at wot it kinda flatlines before it should. like it just gets into boost and then WHAM!, no power errrrrrr. 2nd is a lot better but still cuts out, and third on up no issues. i ran a can of seafoam through and noticed nothing. i did run it in the fuel cell, and not the brake booster. i will list my mods in the sig in just a few moments. could the TPS be the problem still, or is there something else? i just replaced the spark plugs a few days ago and the old ones were pretty bad, and it runs a lot better with that done.....any help is appreciated.

Go look at the FSM, read how it says you're supposed to adjust the TPS instead of just jumping in blind, you'll never fix anything with those style of methods.

with the ignition on, back probe the signal wire and it should read .45 volts with the throttle closed i believe

what is back probing? i assume it will read higher or lower depending on where it sits.....is that right? so just twist it till it sits at .45V?

.4-.5 volts is acceptable, as long as it reads 4.5v+ at WOT

backprobing is the method of getting voltage at a plug by sticking something in the connector from the backside (like a pin, paperclip, etc) alongside the wire.

so i want it to read .4-.5 at WOT not closed? so just have a friend hold it full open while i read right? and have him twist it a little at a time till it sit perfect?

another problem i am having is after i turn the car off and pull out the key it still runs for about 5 seconds, kinda like a turbo timer, but i dont have it installed yet. do i need to replace the FPR, or what? is my T-Rex pump to much for the stocker? usually i just rev it a little and it stops faster.

at WOT it should read 4.5 volts, in order for it to read 4.5 volts at WOT it will read somewhere between .4 and .5 volts at closed throttle. hope that clears it up for you

ahhh, that makes it MUCH better, lol. so basically it's only changing when throttle is applied. which wire do i test this on?

im not sure what the wires are on yours - i have an RB25 - but you should have 3 wires: 1 will be reference voltage of 5V, 1 will be ground, and then 1 will be the signal - so its really easy to figure out which wire is the signal
