Well i got some new wheels/tires. I'm hesitant to put them on since i droped my 94 vert on KTS coilovers and cant get rear toe in spec. I got till the 26th to get them on (friends mounting/balancing/aligning for free) So i'm on more of a budget for rear adjustable toe arms than i want to be. I have 150 to spend. Anyone got recommendations? i've seen circuit sport, prodrift, megan racing all in my range.I hate to go cheap since i run kts coilovers (w/32 rear spindle setup), and all SPL suspension, and poly bushings all the way around. But its the one suspension part i'm missing and i need it quick. I'll pick up some spls next year just need something descent to hold me over. Thanks in advance.

SPL has theirs for $219. I would just find a way to get the extra $69 and buy the good stuff. Surely you can find the extra dough if you could find enough to buy KTS coils.

You could try what I did if you have way too much toe-in, but I won't recommend it yet since I haven't been to the alignment shop to see if it truly worked right. zerothread/327075I'll let you know once I get it aligned.

You should be fine with Megans for a year. You can get them on EBay for about $100 shipped.I have had Megan arms out back for almost 2 years with no worries. My car is daily driven and I randomly get the urge to take a late night drive maybe once a month or so.Do NOT slott any of the mounting holes.

Do NOT talk about things if you don't know what you're talking about. Why would you say this?

Probably because the toe arms are made of stamped steel that is not all that thick to begin with. Depending on how much lowering is done and the amount of correction needed in regards to toe, slotting holes is a band aid solution to doing things right. If the car is driven hard, chances are the bolt will start to move in and out on its own. You will at the very least, if you have any sense at all get down there and check for tightness and play at the end link. Not a big deal, but a concern, thats why someone came up with the brilliant idea of producing adjustable arms. Arms that when set up will have no play at either ends and also eliminate at least one pair of really old bushings with fancy new(hopefully) heim joints. Don't be getting all butt hurt and defensive. I'll help you re-build your sand castle. Now maybe you have done this (after a quick search, you in fact have) I hope that metal holds. You will not go flying off a bridge if it fails, but you certainly will notice it when it does. The OP was looking for an economical option. He, like you is an adult that is ultimately going to do what he so chooses. He asked for options and we both responded.Me, I prefer to err on the side of safety and general common sense. Slotting mounting holes while seeming to be a genious idea under the shadetree, is not something I would recommend as anything longer than a short term solution. That is why I and apparently a couple of other people say that. Check your own thread. You will notice I did not comment on your thread, as you are quite pleased with your work and the results, do not go taking issues in other peoples threads simply because they do not agree with how you choose to do things.

honestly, I'd recommend SPL. They just recently came out with V2, which has that little hump for the clearance issue that V1 came with for those that had their rides super slammed...

but of course, with SPL, you have your SPL prices...

I guess, since your on a budget, PBM has their V2 toe rods as well, which also like SPL changed it up for that same reason. They're only $180, which I think is pretty reasonable

Now that is some useful information. As much as I like the quality of the SPL name, I don't fully agree with the pricing. That and being a TX resident I get to pay that lovely sales tax on top of shipping.one day though...
