I have a chance to pick up some of these, one set is new and by Stillen. The others are slightly used off a 94 (I have a 92) and look different from the Stillens. The Stillens are blue the others are black. As I understand it these eliminate the liquid filled bushing in the stock tension rod? Does that mean they shoud last a looong time as opposed to the liquid ones? I also understand they provide greater adjustability. Why, assuming I'm not tracking it, would I want more adjustability? Any downsides to using these? Thumbs up or down? $120 or so sound good for the new Stillens?

I would imagine you could dial them in better if the car were lowered, or if other bushings, components are worn.

However, having driven a car with speherical rod ends where bushings once were, I'll never do it again on a daily driven street car. Too much NVH, lubricating, etc.

Not just greater adjustability, stock has no adjustability.

So true, but you loosen the stock TR's & retighten them at it's new, lower height, don't you? Is that not adjusting?

Adjustment of caster is done by the length of the rod, not orientation.

Gotcha. Thanks. I wasn't sure what you'd do with it unless let the car sit where it wants to & adjust the rod where the rod end attaching bolt slipped in easily. Kinda like setting up a panhard par on the rear of a live axle app. Providing, of course the other bar was parallel to the ground as possible.

Stock but fresh bushings only for my driver.
