I have a buddy who has the Stillen Rear Camber Arms & Toe Arms for his G35 coupe that he wants me to help him put on within the next week or so and I had these sitting in my garage and decided to take a look at the stock hardware on the coupe. Needless to say these look like they would fit right on our cars...Has anyone done this or have any info on whether or not anyone has done this. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

These were the directions off the website provided with his package...

There's a guy that installs a lot of stuff on the Gs and Zs and he told me that his stock Z camber arm will fit mines. He was installing my rear toe bolts and decided to hold up the camber arms up side by side and they both looked the same in size

Thats exactly what Im wandering. I know spec makes the camber and toe bolts. I wanting to replace to whole camber arm itself. The camber arm and toe arm from stillen both look like they would fit but it would take someone putting them on there to see. And spec wrote me and said the rear camber arm and toe arm from there 350z kit would not work on the coupe. But it does work on the 02-06 altima....? So maybe Ill just have to try to fit and error and if they dont fit turn around and sell them. It sure would be worth seeing if they did fit. I dont like the idea of having the drill out my control arm to make the camber bolt work if one of these adjustable camber arms would fit on my car is all. Plus it would look alot cleaner and give people that wanna run insane offset a good chance to run halfway decent camber in the rear.

Well there was a thread on here awhile back about someone looking into the oem part number for the rear control arm. I never got a answer on it but If the part for the 02-06 altima or sedan is the same as coupe or even within the same measurements then its safe to say that any 350z or g35 kit would work. Its just finding out that info and Im waiting on a call back most likely in the morning from the kid that works in the parts dept at nissan to let me know. He said he had both in stock and would compare them for me and If I have to Ill take a drive over there and examine them. Stay tuned...

This is the main reason why I think these will work. A couple different places keep telling me they wont but I think it just comes down to the fact they dont know its the same rear end. Here are the schematics I pulled from nissan oem parts and it shows that the rear end on the 02-06 sedan is basically identical to the 07-2010 coupe. The main parts are the camber and toe arms are the exact same part number. So Ive basically decided Im gonna buy a 350z or g35 rear camber kit since they are interchangeable with the 02-06 sedan. Let me know what you guys think.

quick question....if the camber kits and everything from a 350 or g35 work for the AC then RL wont have to create new ones for us because we would just be able to use the 350 or g35 ones?

Well mulitple companies make camber kits with camber and toe arms that I think will work for the g35 and 350z. spec performance, stillen makes a set but they are expensive as hell, eibach makes just the camber arm but has to use the bolt for toe, ichiba, ksport, fmp racing has a set out that I think is really nice for the price, godspeed has a set out, and then of course they are some ebay sellers that make their own versions and sets. Just search and see what you like. They differnce in alot of them is the hardware they use. Of course the stillen uses hemispherical rod-ends and polyurethane bushings which is why their set is more expensive. Id say it just depends on what you will be using it for. Just street use with a set of coilovers Id say youd be fine with a cheaper set as long as you arent pushing the hell out of your car on the track etc. If you are then Id look into some of the more expensive sets once someone confirms for sure these sets will fit. Ill be trying a set for camber and toe based off a kit for the 03-05 G35. But id just like to say Id still be interested in seeing a set from racingline. Some of their products are top notch and you gotta give them props for keeping the aftermarket game alive for our coupe. Show them support.

I installed the SPC toe bolts and camber bolts (SPC-72055) on my sedan when i went bc coils... the hardest part was elongating the oem frame slots... other than that, simple install and according to the alignment guy it allowed for +/- 3 degrees of adjustment using the stock arms... if the aftermarket arms do work it will be an easier install since the altime frame slots are steel (referring to sedan specific) while the g and z slots are aluminum.

Finally got to measure the stock g35 camber and toe arms to the stock off my coupe and everything matches up. Even mounted up the G35 arms onto my coupe. I think with aftermarket set someone could definitely make it work. Im gonna wait until after I get the coilovers on and then jump into this and Ill be sure to make sure I post pics and let everyone know how the whole ordeal goes. This is mainly for the coupe even though from my previous post I showed how the part numbers are identical to the sedan. So this should work for all of you guys too.

Camber wear - this is ONLY 3 mos gents...they go QUICK!
Image

Side by side - OEM vs SPC Adjustable (you can see you have ALOT of room to play with as far as adjustment goes)
Image

Installed with some lockout washers since all the adjustment is done at the arm and not those dumb eccentric washers! :naughty:

Bought an expensive 20 dollar bit for my dremel...this is before

This is about 10 mins after - so worth EVERY PENNY :woot:

There you have it - 350z/G35 Camber arms installed on an altima (2005 sedan) :dblthumb:

hmm i was just reading through this, something about how the camber arms for a 350z/g35 should work on the altimas. i have an 09 coupe, and i'm curious as to whether or not stock 350z camber arms should give me a bit more camber to play with than the stock altima coupe's. may be a stupid question, but i figure i'd ask anyways since my teammate has some stock 350z camber arms he said he'd pass my way.

The altima and z both has the same part number so I'm guessing they should be the same

The adjustable Eibach/SPC arms (for the 350z) I have are longer than the oem arms on my sedan. Was hoping to dial out some of the camber, but I just ended up raising the rear end up as it was sitting a bit lower than the front. I suppose I could have taken it to a machine shop and have them cut off about 3/4 inch off of each threaded end, but after the raise it looks like I should be able to get it near factory spec. Hopefully you coupers will have better luck...
