Hey, I recently went to take my 240sx into a dyno.

The few weeks before, i noticed my top end dissapeared, I stopped feeling that slight pull that i ussually felt when i got the header in from ~4900-6000 Rpms...Its just flat now..... So when i took my car into the dyno my graph looked like an earth quake.

I ended up with 128.6 Rwhp and 127.9 Tq [which is lower than it should be.... ]

From the sensors set up and all that jazz, i was running rich, and my spark is down....

Im thinking my spark could possibly be down, becuase..... ( The gasket that goes around the spark plugs leaked oil becuase i didnt put enough silicone around it. So oil leaked to spark plugs 1 and 4.

So my final thoughts are, If i get new spark plugs ( if needed ) should i get an Adjustable FPR or just get the stock one...

Stock.

The stock ECU's fuel curve is not that bad, and the MAF compensates for more/less airflow...so lower fuel pressure throws thing out of whack.

Why do you think the one on the car is bad? Have you checked the fuel pressure?

That what i am not sure about, How do you check the fuel pressure? and, i heard squezzing the return line on the FPR ( if it revs high then it needs to be replaced)

You need a fuel pressure gauge...Summit Racing, or Jegs...either place will sell one for $20 or so.

They uses a barb fitting on each side...cut your fuel line right before it enters the rail, put the gauge there, see what it reads.

Specs are ~43.5psi with the vacuum line disconnected from the FPR, and approx. 34psi with the vac line connected, at idle.

If you squeze the line, it's not guaranteed to rev up...that's a bad method to test it.

do you happen to have the dyno graph?the stock ecu maps are pretty generous with fuel at WOT, mine consistently went into the 12's when stock.
