Hey guys,

I have two sets of homemade cam gears with no scales, but are excellent machined. I want a pair with scales and was wondering who has the quick hook-up and depending on price! Or I will just make scales on the gears and work with that. I know the CA18DET well enough to do this, but gears with a scale will be nice. Mad, guys, anybody? Help..........

Trust(Greddy) and Tomei make five bolt machined timing mark adjustable cam gears for the CA. HKS does as well but they are Aluminum with only three bolts securing them which scares the hell out of me and the timing marks are silkscreened on for the love of boost!

Hmmmm, the ones I have are an exact spin-off of the JUN gears minus the scales. I guess I'll start from 0 degrees and plot 10degrees advance and 10 degrees for retard. Shouldn't be hard.........

Thanks Guys!

for mr2's people commonly take the stock gears, and have a machinist drill in a "circle" 10 degrees either way from the centering pin. works fine, ive never heard anyone say they slip either, then again, mr2 guys are always rebuilding their engines, but for 50 bucks what do you expect.
