Ive recently been seeing these up for sale and was wondering would these work with any kind of shock? Also are they worth getting? Sorry ive just only seen these come on coilover packages an never sold as individuals an couldnt find the answer anywhere else.

I'm running Cusco Camber plates on my Apexi' T-Max shocks. Most are designed to work woth OEM shocks. Most aftermarket shocks(non ride-height adjustable) are designed to work with the factory bearing plate. So consequently, most camber plates work with aftermarket shocks and OEM shocks. And they are sold seperately.

They are worth it if you need to change your camber setting. Particularly if you change them a lot. Perhaps dial in negative for the and put it to something more reasonable for the street. It depends. But it solved an immense understeer problem I had. My car was riding on the outside edge of the tire before. Now it rides much more evenly during a turn and is much more neutral. But before you go out and buy some to solve an understeer issue, confirm why your car understeers first.

Only if you use tham and it makes your car handle better. Otherwise, you might as well refer to it as rice.

I'm not sure there will be enough room for a 4 inch drop in a 240sx. Especially if you are using an oem replacement shock. And Macpherson struts see only a small amount of camber change when lowering anyways.

Ok, 4 inches =you're nuts!I just lowered mine 1.5 inches and im already afraid about scraping but thats prolly due to chicagoland steep curbs and potholes. Anyway I just installed Cusco camber plates on my front stuts to get some kind of camber adjustment after installing H&R springs. I have Koni front stut cartridges which are exactly like oem stuts (cept they are dampening adjustable). Two warnings:1) If you are using oem type stuts make sure to order CUS-220410S not CUS-220410A, the "A" is for aftermarket and won't clear your upper spring perch. 2) Solid (ie no rubber) pivot ball mounts are loud. They transmit every tire to ground noise directly to the chassis.

I bought the plates for adjustability in autox so i could care less about the noise...it goes away after ~40mph anyway when the wind/exhaust noise takes over.
