I have a '92 Z32 w/122k mi. I know the car needs the ds bearing replaced & causes the car to vibrate while accelerating, but also whenever i let off the throttle the car jerks a bit. Is this also a symptom of worn ds bearing? I've noticed that my idle is kinda high (1,000-1,100rpms) and was wondering if this also could have anything to do with it & how to lower my idle? If this isn't the problem could it possibly be just worn mounts/bushings?

Welcome to NICO! Let's see if we can't get this a bit more attention over with the Z guys as they don't tend to wander far from home.

It's hard to say about the jerking, replace the ds center bearing first and check back with us. It could be because of it or it could be totally unrelated. But always fix the known problems first.

The idle will have to be adjusted with the IACV valve, it could be clogged/sticking so it may need a good clean/replacement. If you do a quick search you can find tons of guides on this, but if you get stuck again check back here and I'll guide you through.

+1 on replace the DS bearing first. Google "robo 300zx". There's an awesome guide on there on idle air adjustment.
