when using an adjustable internal wastegate, how do you make it it so you can run a low boost, and not have alot of lag? I am only shooting for 7-8lbs of boost, so wont this end up leaving the wastegate flapper open due to me having to have the wastegate arm longer, to get less boost? also when first installing an adjustable internal wastgate, how can you tell what boost you are going to be at? is there a default, to get you to a certain boost, then you can adjust from there, so you do not set the wastegat to something like 14 lbs when you first install it? I still have to tune my safc, and I do not know what boost my wastegate will be set to, and im scared it will be set at to high of boost. my turbo is a t3/t4

from what i understand internal wastegates are set around 6-8psi stock, then can be increased to w\e the product allows. providing you have an adjustable internal wastegate acuator, as you thread the end in, you are actually shortning the overall rod length, and when you go to put it back on the swing valve lever it will be harder to put on, with the shorter rod, and the increased spring pressure, it will require more boost before the acuator begins to move\open, opening less\later resulting in more boost.

well for cheep ($43) you could get a MBC manual boost controller, its pretty much a valve that stays shut untill desired boost, and only sends the boost to the waste gate then so it opens faster here is one that I'm considering http://www.dawesdevices.com/

Its cheep (hell you might find one on e-bay) and you can adjust it most inportanty to me You wouldn't have to screw with that stupid rod Either
