adhesive removal

wsup, i basically used one of those double chemical mixes to glue something on my car, and i used a bit too much so now theres residue, i got a can of adhesive remover but it aint working, whats teh STRONGEST adhesive remover?

Sounds like you used an epoxy (2-part mix).

Anything that will remve that will ALSO remove paint.

I'd try some brake cleaner on a paper towel first.

try lighter fluid... don't light it... but lighter fluid I found works better than alot of adhesive removers. zippo lighter fluid and its safe on paint.

epoxy is some pretty permanent stuff. anything that can remove epoxy will most likely remove laquers, finishes, clearcoats, paint, things like that. if not, it will probably dull the finish pretty badly.

i say sand it off. work your way throught some automotive sand paper, wet sand it, use a rubbing compound on it, then polish and buff it back to a shine. be easy though.
