Good morning, or afternoon/night if it applies haha. So, I've got some rust on my 240,and I'm basically looking for the most effective way of getting rid of it.I know I cut cut it and weld new sheet metal, but how clean does it look?Just looking for any other options.

Also, I've got a few inches between my rear tire and my inner fender.Should I drop it more?I'm sunk like a battleship as it is,so I'm not sure if I want to or not.I plan on doing 3" straight pipes sometime soon,so hopefully it'll all clear, but I haven't mapped it out or anything yet, since I don't have a lift, and no jacks fit under my car

Here's how it sits.

Might be a bit lower now though, since the springs are more worn in than they are in the picture

I would go with a cut and weld job i think from what i can see, i got the same problem on both sides of mine and will probably just source new sills completely as im doing a total rebuild.

As for the jack not fitting, get a friend to slide it under while you lift the car with ya hands under the wheel arches, or vice versa. Failing that i dont know but thats what i do lol good luck.

Put a 2x4 in front of each wheel and drive up onto them, you should be able to slide a jack under there.

Wow, I feel dumb hahaHad to use blocks to drop it after putting the coilovers on,so that'll work. Thanks!
