Hey guys,

About to place an order for the 35w H11 HID 5000k DDM kit for the fogs on my 2006 M35x. Do I need to order any of the additional add-ons for them to work properly or for the installation such as the HID harness? I was going to order the mounting brackets since it is just $4 and seems like it would make mounting the ballasts a lot easier. I know a lot of guys on here have used the DDM kit, please let me know if you guys have any advice before I place the order.

So psyched, first actual mod I am doing to Monica (my M)
Plan on getting 5k low beams and full LED interior, side marker, and reverse light conversion next.
Then hopefully some classy puddle lights for when I unlock the car like a few of the members have on here

Nope, for the fog lights you don't need anything additional.

The headlights, you may need the extra harness (that connects right to the battery) because DDM kits tend to flicker on start up (this was from DDM themselves).

Thanks for the reply Ilya, I will be ordering today then.

I already have stock HIDs in my M, so wouldn't it just be a matter of replacing the bulb?

Yes, for head lights you'd just replace the bulb and use the stock ballasts/connectors (you'd need D2S bulbs I believe).

Yea that's the one. I'll just switch em out with some nice Sylvanias or something.
