Hey guys,

I was hunting around on here earlier for some wiring diagrams and found your forum to be very useful!

I am from Australia where we call the Versa a "Nissan Tiida".

Anyway, I thought I would contribute something to the forum - my mum has a Versa / Tiida and it had hand crank windows in it - unfortunately she has had major spinal surgery and finds it hard to use the stock window winding mechanism - so I bought a door off a guy on ebay - stripped it all and fitted the electric window internals to a non electric door.

Parts required :

1 x electric window door trim.
1 x electric window window switch controls
1 x electric window lift mechanism.
1 x electric window door wiring loom.

Basically all I had to do was strip the new wiring loom, (LEAVE THE OLD LOOM IN THE DOOR)

Run the following 3 wires into the body of the car :
PINK
DARK BLUE
BLACK

Wire them up as follows :
Pink : constant 12V (batt)
Black : GND (ground)
Dark Blue : accessories (switched 12V)

And the drivers door now has a working power window.

Here are some photos :

The mechanism to lift the glass is exactly the same for the hand crank assembly, except it has a motor, so it just bolts out / bolts in.

You can use the same glass.

Sorry for now taking more photos

Very nice! But where did you mount your control switch? Did you need to cut a hole in your interior door panel for it?

I used the electric window door trim, it has a different colour and feel material but my mum is the only one who uses the car so it doesnt really matter

Think it would be hard to get the passenger side wired up to the driver side?
