I sure this was brought up at some time before, but my car came with the sport package but not the technology package. Is there a way the add the navi unit to anyones knowledge. I could care less about the camera.

There is but I dont think its inexpensive. One of our sponsors willhave all the parts you need.Or you can go aftermarket parts and save $$, but the Nissan-OEM Nav unit has a great rep for clarity of view.

Dig deep into your pockets and anything is possible. Have heard the figure of $3500 for a retrofit, but I don't think it was definitive.

when I was looking at ones for my acura a good aftermarket one like the kenwood screan I had just for the navi add on unit was $2k! If i was intergrated into mine and was all voice activated $3.5k would not be too too bad. Would set back my dubs a but though.

My guess is probably around that $3.5.

Now, you could also scrap the stopck tape deck and slip in an aline single din DVD/nav!

I was thinking something like that, but I listen to tapes so so much :rolleyez But it would not be intergrated with the voice and I would have some switch somewere. Also isnt mine an inch smaller too?

Ohh, yes. You are right, 5.8 inch color LCD, and 7 inch for the nav.

I say get the Alpine DVD/NAV. My friend has it in his Escalade EXT. It has great quality IMO.

I hear that the Pioneer one is great too.

It would actually be a pretty neat look to have two LCD screens on your dash. Plus, upgrading aftermarket navigation is easier.

I guess the downside is that you'd have to finally stop listening to Wham and Rick Springfield. :pface

You should look at the Magellan one as well, it is nice and mounts pretty easy.
