I would like to add some interior lights under the dashboard and under the 2 seats for the back of the car. I was just wondering how should i connect the lights? Should i follow this?

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Foot-Area-LED- ... -a/207.htm

or should i connect it so that it only turns on when i turn the parking lights on?

Seen many people that posted there versa with blue lights in them just wondering if any 1 could give a little detail on how its done thank you.

ADD ME ON FACEBOOK...HERE'S MY EMAIL [email protected].... IM AN LED FREAK... I HAVE PICS AND TUTORIALS ABOUT LED LIGHTING ON MY VERSA... ITS THE FIRST CAR I MODIFIED SO NOT EVERYTHING IS PERFECT BUT AT LEAST YOU'LL GET AN IDEA OF HOW TO WIRE STUFF UP...

PS.. I WOULDN'T FOLLOW THAT TUTORIAL BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE WIRING LED'S DIRECTLY TO THE CAR BATTERY, CAUSE THEN U GOTTA BUY A FUSE HOLDER ALONG WITH A CERTAIN FUSE; PLUS, THE MORE DIRECT-BATTERY INSTALLS YOU DO, THE MESSIER IT WILL LOOK WHEN U OPEN UR HOOD....WIRES INSIDE UR CAR ARE ALREADY FUSED UP SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TAP INTO THOSE WIRES...
LOOK AT MY PIC BELOW: ITS RED LEDS IN THE INTERIOR, RED LEDS IN THE DOOR HANDLES, AND THEY TURN ON WHENEVER I OPEN THE DOOR...

I wired mine up with a separate rocker switch and tapped the power from the fuse box with one of those "Add-A-Fuse" adapters. I mounted the rocker switch on one of my empty button panels near the mirror controls. You can also ground the circuit right behind the fuse box if you remove the panel thats covered by the driver side front door.

That's sweet, I would love to wire my Versa up with some custom LEDs, but I'm brand new to it, so your tutorial would have to be extremely detailed...how difficult is it?

You ever make one of those little light bulb circuits in elementary school? Its about that easy of a concept, just you gotta route all the wires. basically you're gonna set up all the l.e.d.s like you want, connect all the positive leads together and then all the negatives, your positive is going to connect to power (either from your dome light circuit or your fuse box) and the negative will connect to a grounded bolt in your car. Image<one of these will come in handy if you dont want to have to cut into wires.
