Adding DVD player above the Audio system

hi,

Can I add a DVD player with 7" touch screen above the Audio systemby removing the compartment door ??

I have been wanting do the same thing as well. I also want to keep the radio that is already there. Nothing is wrong with the 6CD changer that came with the car.

You can remove the box(not just the door) and there is some space back there. BUT there are no brackets to attach another stereo. You would have to fab up your own brackets.

Just take it apart and see what your dealing with.

Ah you did it I saw you ride #2672299 at cardomain.com you add some nice round utilities , I like the way you put the rear view camera ,no drilling needed.

Could you please post the exact size,dimension of the DVD player you installed .

The dvd player is a standard double din head unit. Nothing special. It may be easier just to do a full HU swap rather than trying to put a HU where the storage box is.
