wanting to add cruise control

I'm looking to add cruise control to my 09 sentra. I am looking to find out if the wiring for it operation is already in the car. I know I need the buttons for the steering wheel. Can they be bought from Nissan? Can the airbag cover be modified to accept the switches? Also, is a seperate switch needed on the brake pedal for the cruise control?

I found that if the car did not come with keyless entry all you have to do is buy the fobs and program them you then have keyless entry. Provided the car has electric locks. Did the same for electric trunk opener. Thanks for any help.

Some one recently tried to add volume controls on an ser by getting the steering wheel pieces with the buttons on ebay, but last i saw he never got them to work properly even though they seemed to wire up. I asume it would be a similar case with CC, but i do not know for sure.

If do do this, dont get parts from nissan unless you want to get raped on price. Ebay is your friend as long as you know what you need.

If you are talking about Intelligent key, then you need the door handles and everything else. It would be cheaper to find something aftermarket.

If you are just talking about the key fob, then yes you will be able to get one and program it as long as it is the right fob, and your car is wired for it.

Thanks for the response. I was able to get the switches from a donor car yesterday. There is a brake pedal cancel switch that I got as well. However, I don't believe the wiring for the switch is in the car. The big deal is I cannot modify the airbag to accept the switches and I don't think it's worth the 400-700 dollars to replace it.

The keyless is not intelli key it's the regular stuff. I did that already. Thanks again for the help.
