I have searched and found some posts reffering to the cleansweep, and a PAC AAI-NIS2.

But nothing with a real answer.

What i want is something that allows aux inputs to play through the factory radio and preferably keep the steering wheel controls for them. I am looking to integrate a IPOD and an aftermarket nav system since my car did not come with facotry Nav.

My car is a 2003 M45 with the Bose system and no sattelite radio. It does have the sat button.

Thanks!

cleansweep will be your best bet...but it is recommended to be professionally installed as it is a *****! That is prob about 400, but will drastically improve sound quality and give you several input into the system.

you have other options too. I keep a tape adapter in the tape deck and I wired it behind the dash and up into the cup holder. Works perfect for my ipod.

what do you want to do this for ? A sub? AN ipod? Really you have a few options and it depends on the use.

What I am trying to achieve is a factoryish navigation setup. I liked this guys setup.

I would like to do it with something other than a portable system though. Id like to have the option to listen to the turn by turn instructions through the factory radio, plus still have music playing.

I would also like to have my ipod instead of my cd changer.

Lastly I would like the ability to upgrade the system to better speakers along with some better subs.

I think the cleansweep would be good for the audio upgrades and then it would give me some inputs too. I guess for the nav i want something like a full nav head unit that goes to seperate screen becuase it does not look like you could wedge a double din head unit in where the cassette is.

Basically I wanted a factory nav but the car i got doesnt have it and im pissed!
