adding another coat to a tinted tail light

can anyone tell me if it is a bad/good idea to add on another coat of spray tint onto a tail-lights thats been already tinted? Reason i ask is b/c i brought my G to a shop to get my tail lights tinted for $115.. I showed them an example ahead of time to give them the idea how dark i want it, and they did a good job.. but it wasn't dark enough the way i wanted it. I called them a day later after the job was done and asked them if they can re-do it, but it'll cost even more. So i wonder to myself if i should just buy the specific tinting spray-can from a website and add another coat on by myself. Is that a wise decision to do?

BAD IDEA!! spray tint is not a good idea it will ruin the tint you already have. If you want it to look clean and darker just pay a little extra money and get it redone!

you can do that or , remove the tint and get OVERLAY ... or just remove it and do it yourself.. but BE WARNED doing it yourself can be very time consuming.

best bets is get it redone, or just get overlay
