Adding an amp to the stock bose system in a QX56

I've been trying to do some research on adding an amplifier and sub to the stock BOSE system in my 2006 QX56. Does anyone have any information on how to do that? This is the amp I'm trying to run if it makes a difference. MTX Thunder Elite 801D

Mixing amps into a Bose system, or visa versa (different speakers into a bose system) is not really a good idea because Bose tuns its amps and speakers in harmony with each other. If you throw in that amp, it is not " tuned" to the Bose system, therefore you are going to get distortion at higher volumes, or a muffled tone at lower. The Bose amp automaticly adjust to the volume level, bass level, treble level etc..etc... if you do put an amp in, run it parallel with new speakers, OR more speakers to get the effect you are looking for.
