Im not sure but I dont think there is anything special about how they wired it. I think there is a thread with a write up about install an aftermarket radio. The only thing special they did was the extending of the wire and relocating the stock screen. The cd changer is disconnected and the tape player is in the glove box.Budhabless wrote:Do you know how they wired everything? Im assuming the double din is connected to the tape deck where the cd changer would plug into? And do you know if they splice into the cd changer harness or is there an aftermarket harness. Where did they stash the tapedeck?
hey i know this is most likely a dead thread but its worth a try. i live near Marietta aswell (about 15 minutes away) i recently purchased an 03 m45 and have been searching through various threads and came upon your post. i have a few question about the work that was done. was it like an apple car play stereo unit? and if so were you able to retain all the steering wheel control button functions? how much $$ did this cost in the end? thank you in advanceDicemoney6 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2016 6:41 pmIm not sure but I dont think there is anything special about how they wired it.
