adding a turbocharger to a 04' 1.8s

I'm thinking of adding a turbocharger to my sentra. What kind of turbocharger should I get. I wanted a large turbo because I want the high speed but I don't want the lag. What do you think?

There's much more to it than just slapping on a turbo.

Try running some searches in this forum, we've discussed this mod several times.

The Cliff Notes version is that it's exorbitantly expensive and only a few 00-06 1.8 Sentras have ever been successfully turbocharged.

Turbo size is going to be pretty limited with the 1.8.

For a 1.8, I would say a Garrett T28 would do the job. The thing is that the motor isn't a performance motor so it won't like the boost. But if you want to boost it, it will take alot of custom work. I don't think there are any kits for it.

T28 is as big as I'd go on a 1.8, and that's still going to lag a good bit.
