Looking into adding a transmission cooler (probably one of the universal Hayden coolers) for my 2012 Altima Coupe 2.5S with approx. 104,000 miles. Has anyone on here added one to theirs other than the people trying to turbo? I've been having issues with CVT whine on acceleration during longer drives, on hotter days, when pushing it harder than average, etc. Never had any issues with limp mode or anything else other than the whine. Transmission fluid has most likely never been changed as I got the car at 78,000 and I haven't changed it. I'm trying to do whatever I can to lengthen the life of the CVT other than change out the fluid; I've heard too many horror stories about people changing it then having problems with slipping or failure soon after.
Any recommendations or guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
