Adding a DLC?

is it possible to add a data link connector to my rb25det s13? anyone ever do this or look into it before? i think it would be very useful, even if I could only hook up a generic scanner.

um, its not hard...when i convert harnesses i wire in the consult bits...

Well, you should already have those wires for the DLC running from your "old" one of the plugs in your dash harness right next to the ECU. If you are looking at some wiring diagrams for your year, there will be a few wires labeled Tx, Rx, Clock, Power, and Ground. Those are generally the 5 most common DLC wires used. And most of the time Clock isn't even used...... Just run those wires going into your ECU to the corresponding wires on the back side of your DLC.
