I have a 95 240sx with a built RB20DET inside. I bought it like that. Here is what has been done to it:

The motor was completely taken a part and cleaned and checked. All gaskets and seals are new. The head gasket is a Greddy 1.0MM metal gasket. The exhaust manifold was upgraded to a top mount with a Precision GT32 turbo and a Turbonetics 38MM wastegate. The maf was upgraded to a Z32. Custom intercooler piping was made for the Megan Racing intercooler, with a Sard R2D2 BOV. A new intake manifold was put on with a custom made coolant neck to work with it. The head was cleaned and fitted with Tomei PonCams for better flow (and a rather large hp gain) With fuel, a Walbro 255 fuel pump, Megan FPR, and Deatchwerks 440CC injectors were added with a Z32 fuel filter. For management there is Apexi S-AFC II and a Zeitronix Wideband for data logging AFR's and LAMBDA on the go. There is also a Greddy Full Auto Turbo Timer installed. With the transmission, a XTD 4 puck clutch was installed (can hold up to 500 HP) with JGY.com's 12 pound flywheel.

My question now is how can I add PS and A/C back. The lines and such were all removed. The guy I bought it from said because it was switched to a top mount somethings would have to be different. Like the A/C mounting brackets or something idk. I am just a newb with this so any help would be great.

For Powersteering:

Get a powersteering pump and bracket (if not already) and install it to your engine (3 bolts)Then install a belt on the pump. You'll need a pressure line to the powersteering rack (ie: http://shop.rawbrokerage.com/p...d=251)You'll need to run a line from the rack to a powersteering reservoir (this is where it may be different as top mounts usually require you to relocate this slightly over). Then from there a hose from the reservoir to the pump.Fill with fluid, presto!

A/C there is a thread all devoted to this subject that 300plus, Darius, and others have put some effort into discussing.

Good luck

Yes I will have to remount (what was it the powersteering reservoir?) since it is a top mount. Here is a view of the engine bay. Not Sure how to relocate it or where it bolts up lol like I said im new to 240s

I have a feeling i know this car from somewhere, oh well.

You'll want to place the resesivor on the driver side strut tower in remotely the same area as the factory location but will obviously need to make new mounting holes and perhaps bend the mounting taps on it to get it to fit some what decently. This part doesn't have tension or any type of stress so no worries there.

Just mount it higher than the Powersteering pump and you'll be good to go.

I ran into the same problem when I changed to a large turbo and top mount manifold. I bought a cheap OBX PS reservoir off of ebay and bought fittings to run -AN line from the reservoir to the pump. I then drilled/tapped the pump to 3/8"NPT. The low pressure line from the PS cooler is 3/8" on my setup so I used a 1/4" NPT to 3/8" nipple fitting (90*) to connect that. Planning on putting it in this weekend, so I can take pictures and add it to an appropriate thread next week.

to the OP, if planning on going with a SS and AN fitting route as Darius mentioned, please be mindful there are Power Steering specific hose to use and not typical heater hose or SS line deal.

Good stuff!

Yes I will remember to use the right hose nmw.

As to this car looking familiar, the guy that had it before me had his friend build it. Maybe he posted pictures because his friend is basically a certified Nissan tech and has an s13 with rb25. This car has always been in OK.

I would go with that PS line.. My hands got blistered to s*** making custom Earl's PS hose... and that's cheaper too boot.

Live and learn I guess.

To clarify, I am only using standard SS braided line on the low-pressure side of the system. The high pressure line that RawBrokerage offers is what is needed on the high pressure side.

I'm pretty sure standard SS braided line is compatible with hydraulic fluid, but heater hose is definitely not. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but the braided lines are not bleeding thru like the heater hose was. It was literally sweating PS fluid thru it.l

UPDATE:

This has nothing to do with the lines but rather my sad state of affairs....

I gave the guy 20 percent down thinking id just go get a car loan for like 4k.

BUT little did I realize how hard it would be for me to get a loan! Now I have no clue who to get a loan for. Everyone so far has turned me down (because I just got a new sweet job and they want 2 years of employment ). I risk losing the car if I cant get some type of loan! Ive tried the local credit unions no luck....
