What's up everybody. What would I need to do to upgrade to power window. I'm talking DIY. Does the 2010 Hatchback come pre-wired for that? I don't have the power package. I'm guessing motors, wires, and switches. Anybody do this??? Let me know. Thanks. :poke:

I would say its easier to buy a different car if that gives you an idea on how much would be involved.

No prewiring that I know of and would be easier to swap entire doors if you could find them

Not interested in all that. If it was a relatively easy job I would do it, but if it's like that forget it. No biggie. Thanks.

Ok. I have another question. I have an alarm, but it only opens driver side door. What would I need to do to have them all unlock, or at least the passenger side?

Did you buy a base 2010 model?
My brother installed auto door locks in his previous car. It had manual windows and door locks, but he installed the automatic door locks. It took him an entire day to install it with the help of a friend. The door panels have to be taken off to get the wiring done. He even installed an alarm on it. He bought a kit off ebay, and it worked great and still works great (it was my dad's car, so it's back to my dad now, lol).
So I'm sure it can be done, but might not be an easy task.

Should just be another door lock selniod added to each door and then wiring it into power and the alarm (assuming your alarm is capable). Not sure how hard the selniods are to mount though^.

Ok... thanks lady and gent. ha ha. I'm gonna have my windows tinted this weekend and I'm cool with one of the guys @ the shop. He said he'll check it out for me. I've read some posts & supposedly some of the vehicles already have the actuators in the vehicle, and its just a matter of connecting wires to alarm(hopefully... keep your fingers crossed) If that is the case. The car shop dude said $25 per door. If not about $50. Honestly I only care about the passenger door. We shall see. Thanks again.
