I added these items in the last two days. Between the brake lines and Tanabe springs my Versa is somewhat "boring" now. Before the car was twitchy on the highway, would bottom out over really bumpy roads, and was a handful. With the lines, the car feels better stopping. The lines aren't spongey like before. I nearly threw a friend into the dash trying them out hard when he wasn't ready for it. The car handles really well. It almost feels sluggish because it doesn't wobble or move a lot when I hit bumps. I drove it for ~55 miles in town and then around the highway. Our roads are terrible, and it felt like a little race car the whole time. The springs make it tight, but not harsh. It is fanstastic and I can't wait to add a strut bar to the front to see how much better it can handle.

I was originally planning on a set of bronze 17" NISMO wheels, but they are discontinued now. I am keeping my eyes open for a set of Sentra Spec-V wheels now. I may powdercoat them black. I'm still deciding on what I want to do. I planned to drive the stock tires until they need changing and then switch wheels and tires together.

I'll get the videos uploaded to Youtube on Monday. I got the lines and springs edited last night but my home router doesn't like YouTube very much.

You need some wheels in a bad way. Something clean, and is for the track would be nice to match your front splitter. I wanted these for a while:

Rota Slipstream

Also, you practice BJJ?

I've checked out those brake lines before. But the price is a bit steep for me right now. Would you say it's worth it as far as a safety upgrade?

Those Rotas are dead sexy!

And yep, I'm close to a purple belt in BJJ.

The brakes feel like they bite harder than before, but it's hard to quantify without some testing if they make you stop faster. My butt-dynamometer says they stop quicker than before. I meant to do some 60-0 testing before and after but I couldn't get a system down where I wasn't affecting the test results. I had too much influence on the results with my country road test method.

If $140 is too steep, what could you do? Maybe if there are a few members that want a set, Bob would do a group buy (hint, hint).

Looks like group buy price will be about $120 + shipping. Bob is setting up the discount code on his store and I'll give it to everyone when it is active.

We are firming up the details, but it should be good for a couple weeks at minimum. I'll post up everything when it's finalized and ready to go.

Leave the car off so the ABS doesn't come into play. If you have a second person it helps to bleed, but I used a 1-man bleeder kit. Just pump the brakes up 4-5 times to the floor to get the air out and then close the bleeder screw. Build up a little pressure with the kit or another friend. Just watch the amount of fluid in the master cylinder reservoir. I checked mine after two times of opening the bleeder screw.
