I have a 5 year old so I decided to add these to make it easier for him to get in. And they work. But now I think I want to do more like a front grill. Bug has bitten me.

This is probably one of the first mods I did after the home depot mod.

In the city, the clearance is really irrevelant since it's nearly impossible to hit anything with the nerf bars. I can't speak for people who go off-road or onto uneven terrain. :)

As mentioned, really great for the little kids. 2-5 yeard olds. Plus, helps when cleaning the roof for us short people at least. :inoutgay:

Bought them from Carid.com. Cost was $139.00 with free shipping. Had them installed by a local car shop here in Miami called Extreme Security and Sound. Would have done it myself but with a broken clavicle and 5 broken ribs that wasn't gonna happen.

As for clearance, I dont really do off road and in city driving i'm not worried about hitting anything.

I do not have more pics at this time.

My money's on having forgotten wedding anniversary! :rotfl

How far do they protrude? Do you ever hit you shins on the bars?

They look nice. I had running boards on my Tacoma. I'm sure your kids appreciate the extra little step...

NIce, I installed a set on my Rogue about 3 years ago and they have been great for my kids. The steel does take a beating in winter and they plug up with snow and ice, but not that big of a deal and if you got the high quality stainless imperfections will buff out. I bought mine on sale on ebay for $120 plus $20 shipping to Canada which is still one of the best deals I've gotten anywhere in my life. I installed them myself in about an hour and they are rock solid, I've put 400 pounds on each one and they do not flex or bend at all.

Actually the one thing that I don't like is I do bump my leg on them when I get in and out, over time I've learned to step over them but passengers sometimes bump on them a little bit.

Great upgrade to your Rogue!

As far as my injury, I was on vacation in North Carolina on my road bike (i'm a cyclist) going down hill about 35 mph and hit some rocks, went over the handle bars,,,,boom.

As for the rails, yes i hit my legs when I get out but I will adjust to that.

I have been planning to add these for 2 years now. But now that my wife turned into the primary driver of the car (Who usually drives with the kids), I think now is the time.

I am somewhat handy with cars. So is it easy to set up?

hey have you thought of simply filling up the end's with the spray foam that expands;

then taping a knife and cutting the ends off nice and flush with the rails, then taping it off, and spraying the ends (the foam) black.

Saw this nerf bars on Ebay for $75/$80.

Anyone knows if they are any good?

$130 is made of carbon steel, $80 one made of stainless steel.

Any input?

Great price, if it looks like the Rogue pictured, looks good.

Mine don't have holes at the ends, since it is covered by some type of plastic button.

Other than that, would look great on your Rogue.

Did you check the sellers feedback? More often than not, if an offer seems too good to be true... Think I'd pass on that offer.

98.3% Positive feedback - Out of 108518

That's what I checked first and it looks ok.

The little holes at the end looks managable.

For the price, I think I'm gonna buy it see how it works out.

you have nothing to loose. paypal/ebay screw sellers every chance possible. your safer buying from ebay, than in a walk-in store.
