Congrats!

you will like it. It will take a while to get used to the torque steer.

Definitely buy a cheapo strut brace from eBay for it. It really helps with the body roll in the cornering on the FWD cars.

What are you going to call this one? You used up "mistress", I guess you have to call it your "dance partner" or something like that.

Yea, it's taking a bit to get used to the FWD again. Pretty peppy little car. I'll look into the Srut brace.

I like the "dance partner"

Yours was the only Black/black I30t made huh? Thats pretty cool.

I have a 2001 I30 black/black here (on the lot). Not a T though.

You know car salesmen - they will say anything to make a sale

When we ordered it, they didn't want to guarantee that they could get it. It was September of 1999, and the I30 was a brand new body style. All the dealers were taking whatever they could get, because it was the hot Infiniti seller. They found where a dealer up in the Eastern part of the US had ordered one for his wife, and she didn't want to wait for it, so it was up for grabs. I latched onto the order, and in a short 3 months, the car was mine.

Since then, I have seen very few black/black I30's or I35's, and none like hers, with the Sport touring package. Not that that is such a big deal - All of our cars are black with black interior, even my 1962 GMC is black with a black seat in it.
