Add subwoofer and amps to Bose in M45

Did a search and couldn't find much on the topic. I want to add a subwoofer and amps to run it to my 04 Infinit M45. Just wondering what wires I have to tap into to get it to work. It has the base Bose system.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Manok,I'm trying to do something similar. I want to add my old sub/amp to my new altima with bose. I found this following schematic: http://www.350z-tech.com/forum...=8091 I have another post up asking for what wires are what color just so i can have a second opinion. My plan is to tap into the rear singnal from the HU before the bose amp. I don't know what signal processing the bose amp does but I want to send a clear signal to my sub amp. My opinion on the bose system is it is pretty good but it lacks solid kick drum bass unless you have the volume up loud enough forcing people outside to hear what your listening to. Let me know what you find.Rob

Ill keep you in touch. Ill probably do the same thing I did in my old car. Tap the signnal before the amp with my convertor and see how that goes.

Manok, please do keep me updated. I'm still trying to dig up more information. I found this on another board:

"Well, I do not know if the bose amp in this car can by bypassed. If I remember correctly the signal from the head unit is passed digitally to the amp. So you can not really tap in before the amp.

I do know however, certain models of previous Bose head units depend on a certain ohms load to be present to function correctly. If not you wind up in a situation where the head unit can be toasted.

IF any one has more information on this I would like to know."
