I would also say its complete BS.
Intake and custom made exhaust are pretty much it. I recommend the k&n intake.

I couldn't agree more. A relatively heavy SUV isn't exactly a prime candidate for performance modifications, either.CanuckQx4 wrote:Save your money bud, cars are a horrible investment.

You have any links for the filter and maf?Pathfinder3.5 wrote:All I did was buy a $10 MAF adapter off ebay and got a cheap cone filter for mine. The performance increase was little but it did respond quicker and feel less sluggish. The sound increase was unreal. You can hear the butterfly valves open in the intake at 5,000.
Keep in mind the fuel filter was quite a few years old in this video. Truck now reaches 6,500 before shifting no problem.

My filter was purchased at my local Canadian Tire and is better quality than the one from eBay. This one should do just fine.hasoon2000 wrote:You have any links for the filter and maf?Pathfinder3.5 wrote:All I did was buy a $10 MAF adapter off ebay and got a cheap cone filter for mine. what do you mean it reaches 6500 no problem? Why does that happen now? I ask because after getting my transmission rebuilt it only shifts to 6000 even if I use the "manual mode". Before I could make it go up to 6500Pathfinder3.5 wrote:All I did was buy a $10 MAF adapter off ebay and got a cheap cone filter for mine. The fuel filter was so damn dirty that it was literally holding the truck from reaching 6,500. Now that I've tightened my throttle cable and replaced the filter it hits 6,500. Make sure your throttle cable is tight and has no slack. I also wasn't reaching 100% throttle when I was flooring it from inside. Now I do. Just grab the cable from under the hood(Not the Cruse Control cable) and see if there is any slack. If there is any, loosen the nut and tighten it!Alfredo24.pr wrote:what do you mean it reaches 6500 no problem? Why does that happen now? If you adjust the accelerator wire, you need to adjust the cruise wire as well. See instructions on FE-3 of the FSM; instructions for the cruise wire are the same, except you need to back the adjusting nut .5 to 1 turn instead of 1.5 to 2.0 turns as with the accelerator wire.Pathfinder3.5 wrote:If there is any, loosen the nut and tighten it!

my fuel filter is new (changed about 4 months ago). Can you post picture of the cable?Pathfinder3.5 wrote: The fuel filter was so damn dirty that it was literally holding the truck from reaching 6,500. not too sure but if you want to tint your front windows do not go lower than 35%. Either 40% or 35%04LEMASS wrote:What percent tint is this on the front windows??
