I just got a 2013 altima without cruise control. I want to know if I can change the steering wheel to one with the controls on it. I also need to know if I will need to have it turned on in the comouter or if it will just work for me. Any help at all would be great.

A few things:
1) Welcome to the forum1
2) Per the NICOclub ToS, please don't create multiple threads for the same topic (I've deleted your duplicate thread).
3) What's a comouter? (Kidding, I guessed it's a typo).
4) It takes a lot more than just swapping out your steering wheel with one that has cruise control buttons, in order to get that feature. There are aftermarket kits available, just do a search.

I have looked at the after market kits out there and I cant stand the way they look or feel. I will keep looking into what it takes to get the steering wheel controls to work. the wiring is the same for it and its drive by wire so it has to be something in the BCM that needs to be turned on to make it work. I will check with a different dealership and see what they have to say. Once i get it done i will be sure to let everyone on here know what all it takes to get it done.
Sorry about the two posts I didn't realize it was a NO no. What can i do to be able to send messages to other users? there is one user who i want to contact that may have the information i need. He seamed to know more about the BCM then i do.
