Add a turbo kit to the stock KA24DE?

:confused: Does anyone know if you can safely add a turbo kit to the stock KA24DE engine? Or do I need to rebuilt the internals first? What about going Naturally aspirated, any suggestions going this route? Thanks!

Yes, you can do a low boost/low power setup with the stock KA, but you'll want to make sure you don't lean out and detonate. The piston ring lands are the weak link.

I turbo'd my stock KA for several years. 10psi on a GT28RS turbo. Just have to have a good tune. Don't skimp out on that part.
