add a little boost to my ka

Hey all. I need help. I'm really new to the car game. I need help with putting together a s13 project. i want to first start with the engine. Now i would love to do an sr20det swap but the problem is i live in NY and the car would never pass inspection with that engine. So i would like to kow what i can to do my ka to give it a little more boost and speed for the highway runs but not for racing. Also don't want to take away from AC or anything like that.

Why not go with a RB20 instead of a ka and sr it should pass check out the RB section of the forum

Could just get new cams, exhaust, and ecu if you want a little pep. or just get BD stage 1 kit give you more than NA basic upgrades would give ya.
