Adaptive headlights 2007 m35 sport

Hi everyone..
I picked up my m35 a few days ago and noticed that the drivers side headlight doesn't move. The passengers side I can see moving on the road when I turn the wheel. Do these have a tendency to break? How much of a pain is it to fix?

I think there is an AFS light in the dash. If so, I would expect it to come on if one was broken. I could be completely wrong on that, though. Either way, the driver side doesn't turn unless you are going over 15mph and may not move as far or as soon, so to really be sure it's not moving you need to make a pretty solid left turn at a somewhat substantial speed (the only time I noticed it move was turning left into a driveway, and it was helpful then).
