Hoping someone can help. Would anyone have any idea why the adaptive cruise control will be working fine, then all of a sudden whenever I try to set it, it will just flash. I've included a YouTube video that I took of it.

It looks like your wipers are on. Is it raining heavy? I would think that would be enough to stop the system from working. Also happens in bright sunlight as well.

Regarding the cruise control issue; from your video it sounds like it's raining and your wipers are operating.
If that is the case, then there is an interlock that disables intelligent cruise control when the car deems the driving environment to be unsafe - judging by how much the windshield wipers are being used.

It can be bypassed by using the conventional cruise control, but again it's a safety interlock for good reason.
