Can this be done? I searched to no avail, It appears the speedo harness connection for the KA is on the other side (though I could be wrong).

How did you do it and am I wrong about it being on the opposite side of the car?

isnt the connection from the speed sensor on the transmission in the lower efi harness? thats the only connection you really need. ive heard alot about having to swap speed sensors and stuff but i havt had to and my car reads mph just fine.

i would think (if you ere so inclined) that all you would need to do is use the ka speed sensor. i couldnt imagine it wouldnt drop right in as all s13 trannys are the same.

if youre feeling lazy, ive got 3 s13 gauge clusters laying around. ive got a us cluster from a 89 240sx, a jap CA cluster from my front clip (odometer sticks quite a bit though) and a HUD from a 92 coupe but the speedometer doesnt work.

christ. I wish i had my camera, but my folks took it to NY this weekend and I cant show you the plug on the motor harness that I mean...

I will try to describe it for you. It is a white plug on the CA harness about 1 1/2 - 2 feet away from the ECU. Will it accept the plug from the stock 240sx harness?

the top pic is the cluster harness socket and the bottom pic is the consult socket, right?

I was told by c-rad that you have to graft the ka plug and socket to the CA wires...

just follow heavy throttle's swap guide for SR's. the wires match up Its for the instrument cluster is the plug you're talking about right? On the KA harness its brown, on the CA harness its white. They should have the same colored wires as listed on http://www.srswap.com
