Well I pull up to the lights not expecting to have a run with the guy so I was at low rpms during the start and next thing I know Im almost redlining every gear. He got me by a quarter lenght which didnt change all the way from stop to 160ish then I let off cuz we were on a main road. I have to say sometimes I wish I got the 3.5. I thought I would of had him for sure but I was severly dissapointed. Gotta make it go faster.......somehow......

I can make no comment to the safety/ public endangerment aspect to street racing.

But I can say this to street race in Ontario is just plain stupid. With Tickets ranging from $2000-$10 000, and ROADSIDE license suspension AND Vehicle inpoundment. Add to that how much the Ontaio police like to crush tuner cars. The thrill is not worth it.

Be careful man, unless you're looking for a ticket to the car crusher

1300 extra pounds, 130 exta HP.. so yeah, I can see why you'd think the 2.5 would have a chance... (in general, needing an extra 10 HP for every 100 lbs extra) but those extra 100 ft/lbs of torque help the MDX also... then, once you get into top end horsepower, there's just no way the 2.5 could keep up...

for the record, i would only post about losing to an SUV if it was a cayenne or the Jeep SRT8... now stop street racing!
