can i get rid of it by installing normal struts from the Q45 base model ?

You must install the complete spring assembly with shocks and a new upper mount plus loop closed the Active pump............dozens of tiny other steps plus removing the heavy active controls.

Best to find someone expert in conversions or just repair your Active system.

WE charge $1500+ to do the simplest conversion with used parts except for new Tokicos...........add $300 to strip out weight unneed components and lines.

The proper way is to change out dual power steering pump with oem standard pump, pullies, and belts but this would add another $1000 unless you have a donor Q on site.
