My 94Q45a does not seem to want to raise and lower. I tried to lower my front end as it sits a bit high - 3 finger gap front vs 2.25 finger gap rear (I know I should measure in inches - I was rushed for time). Anyhow I turned the sensors fully clockwise as per the directions in the manual but there has been no change in height.

There is no change in height when I use the N/H switch as well. Seems the same height in both modes.

Texasoil - does this have to do with the other unreplaced accumulators that you spoke of?

Now I'm noticing that the drivers side is lower than the passenger side - WTF?

Also, now both my front actuators hiccip intermittently on shut down. The sometimes do this on start up as well.

Please, someone keep me from going Non Active!

Im going to get the Q45 police on you if you convert that active car!

Theres a thing with the consult for the active suspension to adjust the ride.. It sets it at full pressure so that you can lower it..... Do you have the FSM?

Also, your VERY limited on what you can do with an active car without the consult.....

No consult - isn't that like a $3000 item (ebay)?

Not sounding promising! I've emailed Texasoil about this as well to see what he thinks. I do realize that I need to get under the rear suspension and checkout how the sensors are set.

I remember when I bought this car that it did raise and lower when switching between H & N. But now nothing! Front actuators seem to intermittenly "jump" up (just a bit but it is noticalbe on start up or shut down. The car does have an impeccable service history - the reason why I bought it.

OK went back under and set (this time, properly) my sensors to full low.

Once I backed off the ramps I had NO fender gap! SWEET! But I just had to fool - I tried going to H then back to N (just to see if I'd see any movement) and now I'm back to where I was when the sensors were in the middle position! Doh! Rear dr side still 1/2" lower than passenger side - will fool w/next weekend.

Well its like this--if you misadjust the front sensors (side to side) one side is full up--and the torsion bar lifts the other side--which then tries to lower to set height, which then pulls down the other side, which tries to go up , which ....

Side to side imbalance in the height adjustment can easily result in a 'stand-off'. SMALL angular movements of the position sensors are essential.
