Not sure on that sticky maybe a topic.

Under hood:
I would say check the all the oil levels in the car under the hood before starting Including coolant. Then check the drive belts....

Interior:
Turn the key twice (Run) and make sure all the idiot lights work. Then I would start the car up. Notice how fast the car gets to normal ride height. Is the Act Sus light on or any other ones for that matter? Does the height change when the height switch is changed from (N) Normal to (H) Height?

Exterior:
Do you see the ride height as level. Do you see any leaks under the car? When pushing down on each corner how much does the body move?

Regarding the test drive. My Active Q is no where near restored. So I am not a useful source of info there.

thanks Infinitiguy19,

Yes i read that article, i think the sticky i saw many moons ago was when we were on the yahoo board perhaps. Believe it or not, back when i was shopping Q1, I did the research (owner comments were not kind on reliability)and stayed away from active cars; of course all the ones i saw for sale were active LOL. Going to look at A car tomm, thanks for the info, I ;ll keep ya posted,
