Has anyone with an Active Q ever replaced the front and rear actuators? Is there a way to test them? At $750 a piece, they're not cheap. I'm wondering what kind of condition mine are in considering I have 147,000 miles on my car and the rubber boots are ripped on all 4 of them.

i've replaced the front. my ride was very harsh before i changed it. there's no way to test the accuators. i would recommend to make sure all other components are working. if your ride is bumpier than usually or then it's probably time to change those accuators.

when i changed the fronts, the car drove like butter. can't wait to do the rears.

get with keith bowers!

Thanks for the reply. I already did all 9 accumulators with Keith and also replaced the Front Vertical G Sensor which happened to fail shortly after I replaced the accumulators.

Where did you buy the accuators and how much $$$ ?

Thanks

sorry for the late reply. i get all my active stuff from keith bowers (texasoil).

i paid $350/pair for the front. there is a core charge of $200, but you get that back once you send in your existing ones.
