How many of you guys are using an unsprung hub in your daily driver? I've got an act 6 puck with the unsprung hub. I love the way it jerks the car around and occasionally shreiks when I don't slip it perfectly! LOL

My ACT Street/Strip kicks *** for daily and can still take abuse. But my car is pretty much bone stock for now.

Damn I was thinking of getting the ACT 6 puk unsprung but now I'm second guessing it. hpmachine how bad is this clutch, is it still some what street drivel?

Just like anything, I'm sure you'll get used to it. The break in period is rough and if you have never driven one before it can be a challenge. I don't find myself stalling the car a lot, the hard part is just pulling away cleanly from a dead stop (without the car bucking, excessively slipping the clutch, making a loud shreik and shredding the tires). The clutch has like a 1/2 inch area of play between engaging and disengaging. So it's almost like a switch! LOL It can be really annoying if you are trying to pull up a hill in heavy traffic but once you get to the track, that clutch makes it all worth it!

just have to get used to it. first time i stalled the car a few times or just gave it some gass. but now it's a breeze. if you're dead stopped on a hill just use the e-brake to take off easy. i drove it anywhere.

I'm using an ACT 4 puck unsprung with the stock pressure plate and it still has a little bit of play to it but it still grabs when you need it to .
