Yep...I'd heard they sucked, and it was true. Less than 300 miles and its making that replace me noise. Looks like I get to drop the transmission next weekend, oh joy!

Mine is still fine. And it's been two years with a turbo.

No, HD plate, 6 puck clutch...I'd heard it was hit or miss with their bearings, and it seems I've missed.

I put in the ACT street clutch, last year, it came with the wrong bearing anyway so I installed the Nissan factory bearing instead. It still makes noise though, after only like a 1000 miles it started, and the starter seemed to making unsual noises after starting about the ame time.

I take back my disparaging remarks...it turns out it wasn't the TOB, it was a small metal ring on the front of my differential that has come loose thanks to a different problem (the front bushings ripped right the **** out, letting the front of the diff drop down and thoroughly screwing things up). Luckily my differential doesn't leak oil or anything so I'm going to just try to stick the ring back in its place...if it doesn't hold I'll rtv it to the diff or something of the sort. It was making a noise identical to a bad TOB, but I know thats what it was. Hopefully I can fix this easily and be back on the road once the new diff bolts come in on thursday :) Sorry ACT ;)
